Our clinic is housed in the YouthLink-Youth Opportunity Center. This clinic provides a variety of health and wellness services to people who are homeless. We address health concerns, provide treatment including medications, help with signing patients up for medical insurance, provide health education and coordinate access to health and social services in the community. Our clinic is one part of a larger organization dedicated to helping youth connect to services. Our clinic has many things that make it accessible to youth; late hours, walk-in appointments, confidentiality and help getting insurance. We also provide comprehensive care, you can come to the clinic for STD testing, birth control and pregnancy testing but also physical exams, testing for diabetes, blood pressure and immunizations (shots). The clinic is housed in YouthLink which offers even more services for youth; help with employment, education, housing, basic needs and crisis services. CostWe accept most insurance plans, we provide sliding fee scales for low-income or uninsured individuals. Clinic services will not be denied based on inability to pay. EligibilityAge 16-23, any client of YouthLink or any homeless youth living in situations such as: outside or on the street, in shelter or transitional housing, with friends or relatives (“doubled-up” or “couch hopping”) or currently housed but was homeless within the last year.Services
